Yearly Renewal
Florida KidCare families must go through an annual renewal to find out if children continue to qualify for coverage. The easiest and fastest way to update account information and complete the yearly renewal process is by logging in to the Florida KidCare Parent Portal.
MediKids, CMS and Florida Healthy Kids members can complete the renewal process using the Florida KidCare Parent Portal. Medicaid members must renew their coverage through the Department of Children and Families. Learn more here.
About two months before your child(ren)'s renewal date, you will receive a notification and be prompted to ensure the information we have is correct and provide any new or missing information. You will only be asked to provide us with information we could not get by electronic data matching with other sources. As an income-based program, if your gross annual household income and/or family size changes, your monthly payment may change.
Let us know any time if someone in your household moves, has an income change, gets married or divorced, or has a baby or adopts. Even if it’s not time for your yearly renewal, these life events might impact your child’s Florida KidCare coverage.
